Transport to and from the airport:

Meet and greet: Your hosts can meet you at the airport. We will await you in the arrival hall and bring you directly to Ascot Parnell. This it is a 30 min drive by car. If you would like to be collected ask for details when you book. Also please advise your flight Number and arrival time. The cost is less than a taxi.

Taxi: Taxis are waiting outside the Airport terminal, the ranks are to your left as you exit the arrival hall. Costs approx. $65-$75 for 2 pax.

Shuttle buses: Operate a-door-to-door service, 7 days. They are waiting outside the Airport terminal on your left as you exit the arrival hall. The cost is NZ$35 for 2 pax and NZ$ 25 for 1 person. Travel time is about 1 hour, sometimes a little longer as it goes by the major hotels first. Not ideal after a long international flight. PLEASE NOTE : DON'T USE THE AIRBUS. It does NOT stop at our door, and only calls on downtown chain hotels.

Directions From the airport: Take road No. 20 motorway to Auckland city, take exit at Queenstown Road, follow Auckland centre. Follow Manukau road (Road No 12) all the way to Parnell. On your right hand side you will see the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity, this is where you turn right into St. Stephens Avenue. The Ascot Parnell is 300 m downhill on your left.

Directions from Motorway North (Ex Whangarei): Cross Harbour Bridge - Follow sign N'Market (Newmarket) and take exit PORT. You will end up at the bottom of Parnell Road (cross junction). Follow direction Parnell-Newmarket which is a right turn into Parnell Road. Follow uphill all the way to the top of Parnell Road. On the corner by traffic lights on your left is the Parnell Village Motor Inn, (a large white wooden building), and across the street, the large Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Turn LEFT on that corner by the traffic lights into ST. STEPHENS AVENUE. We are 300 m downhill, on the left hand side.

Directions from Motorway South (Ex Hamilton-Rotorua): When you approach Auckland city, look for EXIT SIGNS : Symonds Street and Wellesley Street. Take exit Symonds Street, then follow exit Wellesley Street, then follow sign "PORT". You will end up at the bottom of Parnell Road (cross junction). Follow direction Parnell-Newmarket which is a right turn into Parnell Road. Follow uphill all the way to the top of Parnell Road. On the corner by traffic lights on your left is the Parnell Village Motor Inn, (a large white wooden building), and across the street, the large Cathedral of the Holy Trinity. Turn LEFT on that corner by the traffic lights into ST. STEPHENS AVENUE. We are 300 m downhill, on the left hand side.
